Q1. Do you believe the author of this article made points about gifted students that could be applied to more than just the gifted? If so, should have extended his argument to all students/teenagers?
Q2. Is the authors argument that comic books can be an aid for gifted students true?

1.) Do you see a flaw in narrowing the topic of dicussion to focus around gifted children, and not children of all learning abilities?
2.) Do you think that comic books cause children to become unrealistic, and hold a :fantasy world" headspace... Or do you think it allows them to develop creatively and use their imaginations?
In response to spenders question: yes, I do intact feel that there is often deeper underlying meanings to comic books. More ofter than not, authors incorporate real world problems into a child like format in order to gently expose children to the real world. It is actually quite ironic.
Q1. Is trying to be like you Favorite superhero good or bad?
Q2. Are their any benefits for kids to read comic books when they are feeling depressed?
In Response to Spencer i do agree that every comic book super hero has a deeper meaning to their life because they all have a normal life as a person until they go out into the field and go against the bad guys.
1) Do you agree with the notion that comic books can be used to teach important values and can be used as a way to discuss current societal issues?
2)Do you think comic books superheroes adequately reflect the values important in today's society?
In response to Spencer's second question, I do believe there are many deeper meanings to comic books as they often portray certain societal issues and responses to them.
Q1: Do you believe that the criticisms expressed about comics should be logically and thoughtfully addressed by gifted students.
Q2: Why can these comics only be understood by gifted students?
In response to Macy, I believe that these comics might cause gifted students to sway away from their values because it may cause them to believe that they are better just because of a trait they possess because of how superheroes are glorified
