For this video, either:
1. Comment 1 question
OR
2. Comment something that interested you about this rap battle and state WHY it interests you. Do not just say "I thought that one part was interesting." Think about the conventions of a rap battle and if it is successful at it. Is there a winner? What does it take to win a rap battle? etc.
Next, you will respond to someone else's comment on this post. Try to focus on the rhetorical situation and consider the fact that this is a rap battle.
An interesting aspect of this rap battle was the fact that both women were defending their status and strength. Instead of it being a video about female empowerment, the women were comparing themselves to one another and seeing who came out on top.
In response to Amanda's question: I think that there are just as many if not more rivalries between men when compared to rivalries between women. I think that the purpose of the two male characters backing each of them up was to show the parallels between Katniss and Hermione and how their relationships with each of the men ultimately influenced who they became.
Both Katniss and Hermione are seen as strong female figures in their respective roles, even heroes to some. This rap battle showed fans their negative qualities and shortcomings, which we often don't see.
In response to Delaney, also thought Katniss won the rap battle, however the insults were equally as clever on both sides. Each character has different strengths; one is more athletic and physically inclined while the other is incredibly intelligent and academically gifted.

Do you think this video would be a good way to introduce people to these characters?
In response to Jakob, I think this video did indeed seem too scripted and fake to remind me of a conventional rap battle.
As someone that likes music i that this was a creative rap battle but not your ideal rap battle. Going back to the point that i don't know about harry potter i still think i got more out of this then the parody from uptown funk. And in the hunger game side i have seem their movies so i knew what was going on.
Do you think there was a clean understanding for this rap battle?
In response to Amanda it is more common to see female argue because that the stereotype put out there in the world how they fight about anything.
