For this video, either:
1. Comment 1 question
OR
2. Comment something that interested you about this video and state WHY it interests you. Do not just say "I thought that one part was interesting."
Next, you will respond to someone else's comment on this post. Try to focus on the rhetorical situation and consider the fact that these are TV Show intros that supposedly give the viewer an idea of what they show will be about.
How big of a role do you think the intro of a T.V. show plays in the success of the show?
In response to Leemor, I do think a good theme song can have a significant impact on the viewer and can entice them into watching the show.
What do you think is the main purpose for having an intro?
Do you think an intro with a more catchy song can help make the show more successful?
In response to Amanda, I don't think you can alway tell exactly what a show is about from just the intro but it definitely gives some insight.
q1. how big of a factor is the introduction to a show and how important is it to the audience
in response to leemor yes, i think a good theme song intice fans to watch
As a music major most of the tv intros are like jingles in the way of being catchy and/or being funny but it always goes along with the show. As a new person to the tv show their goal is to catch you attention so the best way is by having a groovy song, nice video edit, and catching song.
Do you think that you remember the songs for your favorite TV show.
in response to Delaney it improves the TV show because it makes it more interesting.
Do you think catchy lines, music, and jingles in commercials (for example) are created a certain way for marketing purposes?
Are theme songs effective because they're memorable and get stuck in the viewers head easily?
In response to Delaney, I think that the more closely a theme song directly relates to or resembles the show, the more effective it is.
