Watch some of the videos at the following link (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVtkz47ZfJ3Z5aDYey3qnwrAi8IViOCLP) and then:
1. Comment 1 question
OR
2. Comment something that interested you about these parodies and state WHY it interests you. Do not just say "I thought that one part was interesting."
Next, you will respond to someone else's comment on this post. Try to focus on the rhetorical situation and consider the fact that these are adaptation of video games. Some of the videos are funny, others are quite dark, and some are well....questionable. Have fun!

Q1. you think that people can watch this and think it is funny or need to play the game
in response to delaney i think it makes the games more popular by these being made.
Do you think the viewer would need to have experience playing the video game to fully appreciate the video?
In response to Amanda, I don't think videos like these will have any noteworthy impact on the amount of inherent violence marketed towards children.
I found it interesting that this YouTube channel personified the characters. Each one had a story line attached to his or her individual personality.
In response to Hannah, I believe it was a combination of both mocking the creators and entertaining those who play the game.
Do you believe most of these videos were created with the intention of mocking the creators of Mario, or more just to entertain players of the game?
In response to Macy, I believe that most people have a general understanding of the Marioverse even if they have never played, however, if they didn't then they might not find these videos humorous at all.
I think it's cool to see the personalities they give to each character. They seem more realistic and more like average people this way.
In response to Francesca, I disagree. I thought some of them were actually really funny, especially the roast of mario.
